Freshwater Rock Pool

Fundraising concerts and carnivals pulled together most of the money to build the Freshwater Rock Pool, which officially opened on 28 November 1925. Originally measuring 33 yards (30.18 metres), in 1962 it was extended on the western end to be
55 yards, creating 50-metre lengths for competitive swimming.
