While it’s sometimes called the Ivor Rowe Pool, this sweet spot on Coogee’s coastal walk is named after a local man called Ivo Rowe who helped maintain the pool that bears his name. One of the smallest ocean pools in Sydney, it was mostly created by Mother Nature with the local Apex club lending a hand to make it a little bigger in 1965. Watch tiny crabs scuttling across the rocks, with a possible dolphin or humpback whale in the ocean below, as the salt water washes your cares away.
