New Zealand Unseen

New Zealand Unseen was photographed during a trip to New Zealand with friends, beginning with a day at Milford Sound before setting out on the Routeburn Track. We carried everything on our backs, packs, poles, and a 4kg camera, moving up and down through Fiordland’s mountains.

For three days we were completely out of civilisation, drinking straight from mountain streams and swimming in icy waterfalls. These images are a record of the effort, the quiet, and the experience of being fully immersed in New Zealand’s wilderness.
