Mona Vale Rock Pool

There are times when the Mona Vale Rock Pools look like they are floating in the ocean as water surrounds their rock platform perch. While they first opened in 1914, they were updated in the 1930s with the addition of electric lights. When a large number of WWII troops camped nearby, the baths were used as just that. These days, young children enjoy the smaller kiddies pool while
the 30-metre pool is used by all ages, including
the swimming group, the Buckettes.
